The work of each head of the state administration body, whose officials sued the state, will be analyzed and appropriate measures will be taken based on that, announced Justice Minister Zoran Pažin.
"Responsibility is also crucial for officials who are obliged to respect official ethics and authorities' elders who are there to set an example, including in ethical and legal responsibility," said Pažin.
According to him, the essence is the responsibility of public officials who did not do their job properly and officials who tried to get certain funds by abusing the trial process.
"But the emphasis is on the elders who allowed it," Pažin told reporters after a meeting on judicial reform in Montenegro.
He explained that in connection with the abuse of officials, he is referring to unprincipled agreements between individual officials and lawyers, that for very small funds, for which there were no clear records of debts, several times higher amounts are realized before the courts.
"It is not in accordance with official ethics," said the Minister of Justice.
Pažin emphasized that the emphasis should be placed on the responsibilities of elders.
"Because the elders are responsible for the overall work of the bodies they lead, and that was the intention and intention of the Government, but it was not recognized in the best way by the public," Pažin said.
When asked how responsibility will be determined, Pažin said that responsibility is always individual.
"On a case-by-case basis, the work of each head of the state administration body will be analyzed and appropriate measures will be taken based on that. Among other things, through the evaluation of the work of those heads, the possibility of their election or exclusion from the state administration system and leaving the place to better, more responsible and professional ones" , Pažin concluded.
