Tsarević did not sign the agreement: The locations are not under the jurisdiction of the Municipality

The President of the Municipality of Budva, Marko Bato Carević, did not sign the consent for the return of the temporary facilities located in the marine property zone along the main promenade to the program of temporary facilities in the marine property zone for the period 2019-2013. years.

More than 200 people gathered today at the roundabout at the entrance to Budva as a sign of protest, demanding from the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism and JP "Morsko dobro" to allow them to keep their establishments on the part of the promenade towards the sea near the town's Post Office. Tenants and workers of six open discotheques, as well as eight fast food shops and restaurants attended the protest.

Tsarević refused to sign the agreement and said that, as far as the locations on the part of the promenade towards the sea are concerned, they are not under the jurisdiction of the Municipality, but rather the Ministry and the Maritime Dobor, and that he is not interested in what decisions they will make.

He repeated that in this way he wants to move the ball to the court of the Municipality, which has no jurisdiction.

The agreement was signed by Predrag Jelušić, Director of the Public Enterprise for the Management of the Maritime Assets of Montenegro, and lawyer Zoran Piperović, a representative of the tenants of temporary catering facilities.
