For the third year in a row, the Bar-Bari ferry line will be operated by the Croatian ferry "Dubrovnik".
Representatives of AD Barska plovidba and "Jadrolinija" from Rijeka, which is the owner of the ship, signed today in Bar an agreement on business cooperation on the maintenance of the Bar-Bari line for 2019 in the presence of Croatian Ambassador to Montenegro Veselko Grubišić.
The line starts on May 21 with a trip from Bari to Bar, and the first sailing of this year's "Dubrovnik" in the port of Bar is expected on May 22 in the morning hours.
From the second half of May until the end of November, "Dubrovnik" will connect the coasts of Montenegro and Italy with the following dynamics: In May and June once a week, July and August twice a week, and in September, October and November once a week. The commercial conditions that have been agreed will be at the level of last year," AD Barska plovidba told "Vijesta".
During 2018, on the Bar-Bari route, "Dubrovnik" crossed the Adriatic Sea 74 times, and transported 21.887 passengers, 3.955 cars, 888 trucks, 206 campers, 44 buses, 36 trailers and 460 motorcycles.
At the signing of the contract, the president and members of the Board of Directors of Barska plovidba Ljubomir Kočović, Radojica Lazerević and Bedrija Bibezić, and the executive director Tihomir Mirković were present, and from "Jadrolinija" the president and deputy president of the Management Board David Sopta and Vjekoslav Dorić.
