Several hectares are burning near the Church: the protection services manage to defend the buildings

Members of the Kolašina Protection Service are, for now, managing to defend the buildings from the fire, which engulfed a part of the Church this morning.

As "Vijesti" was told in that service, several hectares of low vegetation are burning. It is an extremely inaccessible terrain, and strong wind contributes to the spread of the fire.

During the past few hours, the fire came close to catering facilities in Crkvine, so firefighters are trying to localize the fire in that area.

The fire also engulfed a part of the Morača canyon, and fire fighters cannot reach that location either.

As the commander of the Protection Service Željko Darmanović said earlier today, there are no access roads to the areas where the fire is active.
