With the promotion of the bilingual editions of the works of Peter II Petrović Njegoš, "Luča mikrokosma" and "Biležnica", the seven-day spiritual and cultural manifestation "Days of Saint Vasilij Ostroški", which has been held in the town under Trebjes since 2000, organized by the Diocese, begins in the Parish House in Nikšić. Budimlja-Nikšić and Church Municipality of Nikšić.
"The part of the 'Notebook' that is directly related to the poetic experience resembles the grains of fire from which Njegoš's great poetic and thought work ignited. Those notes were written as if they were not addressed to current readers, hidden in the remains of a great poetic explosion that people did not know about in the time when it actually happened", said the writer Milutin Mićović at the press conference.
The Serbian-Russian edition of "Luče" and "Biležnica" was translated by Ilja Čislov, Anastasija Vrbica Burčeva and Ljudmila Burčeva, and these are the first translations of the aforementioned works by Njegoš into Russian.
Mićović said that the "Notebook" is appearing in public for the first time.
Jerej, Dr. Nikola Marojević, presented this year's event, which will include an exhibition of icons "Holy New Martyrs of Jasenovac in the light of the Resurrection", a concert by Danica Crnogorčević, as well as spiritual music and an evening of Matica Srpska, the Society of Members in Montenegro.
Ratko Krivokapić, president of the church municipality of Nikšić, reminded that litia has been held in the streets of the town under Trebjes since 1996 and that the day of St. Vasilija in Nikšić, the most massive holiday, when several thousand people gather.

Pilgrims from Herzegovina have already set off
A large number of believers from all over the former Yugoslavia, but also from Europe, every year before the feast of St. Basil come to worship the saint's relics in the Ostrog monastery, where they spend the night under the clear sky.
Among those who cross the road to Ostrog on foot are a large number of believers from Herzegovina.
So the karate players from Bilec "Hercegovac", for whom this is their first pilgrimage, set off on foot on a journey of about 90 kilometers.
The members of the "Zimomor" mountaineering and ecological society from Nevesinje, 25 of them, started on foot and in four days they covered a path of about 150 kilometers and reached the Ostrog monastery.
