Novaković: During my mandate, there was no discussion about the location near the Gymnasium

Radomir Novaković Cakan announced yesterday that during his chairmanship of the SO Bar "there was no discussion about the location of the kindergarten near the Gymnasium".

In a short statement to "Vijesti", Novaković emphasized that he does not appear in public as the current vice president of the Municipality, but as the president of the Biram Bar party, whose councilors oppose the construction of a kindergarten near the Gymnasium.

The President of the Municipality, Dušan Raičević, ordered all associates and elders of the local administration to seek his approval for the contents of their statements before making any public appearances.

"During my mandate, May 2016 - May 2018, there were no changes to the DUP in the Topolica 1 project, which covers the city center, where the Gymnasium and Primary School 'Blažo Jokov Orlandić' are located," Novaković said.

Although it was presented to him that it was not about that DUP, but about the "Topolica III" DUP, he stuck to his statement. According to the documentation in the possession of "Vijesti", the DUP "Topolica III" has been changed several times since 2009, and the current plan from 2016 was signed by Novaković, who was then the president of the SO. The date July 18, 2016 and Novaković's signature are clearly visible on the decision on amendments to the DUP "Topolica III".

Biram Bar, which has five out of a total of 28 councilors of the ruling DSP-SD-BS-BB coalition in the local parliament, held a meeting of the party's main committee the night before last, chaired by Novaković. "The committee group remained united in the opinion that the citizens' initiative was correct and that the councilors as well as the membership of the Biram Bar party will continue to remain on the side of the citizens," the party stated.
