The Budva GP URA board publicly asked the Minister of Health, the Institute for Public Health and the Health Fund, whether this kind of care for our youngest fellow citizens in Budva is a reflection of your policy and the way you see issues of public health and disease prevention?
"It is incredible and cynical that on the one hand you encourage parents and carry out a campaign for every child to receive the vaccine, and on the other hand you calmly allow that in the Health Center in Budva children cannot receive the hepatitis vaccine and the Pentaxim vaccine, because they have not been available for a long time and the employees of this institution do not even know when or if they will arrive. Not to mention the fact that this state of affairs favors the spread of false facts about vaccination and essentially renders the campaign you are conducting meaningless. When it is taken into account that the Tax Administration in every way pressures all users of the health fund to settle their obligations, it is difficult not to wonder how you allow yourself to be so indolent when it comes to our youngest citizens," said a member of the municipal board and vice-president of GP URA Blazo Radjenovic.
He points out that this is why the citizens rightly wonder if it is incompetence, carelessness or maybe some private pharmacies doing business.
"When it comes to the Health Center in Budva, despite all the appeals that have been made for years about this institution and especially its non-conditionality and deficit of capacity for receiving and hospitalization of patients, especially when the city multiplies in the summer months, we now also have a shortage of basic vaccine for babies and children. We have to point out that doctors and medical staff make a huge effort to make up for the lack of conditions and basic resources for work, that is, what you did not provide for them, which is your duty. Respected gentlemen, it is high time to ask yourself how and whether you are doing your job responsibly and to start taking responsibility for your actions or, rather, your inactions," concluded Radjenović.
