The Ministry of Sports and Youth, in cooperation with the Water Polo Swimming Association, enabled the boy Miomir Delic and his sisters to attend swimming school for free at the School of Swimming and Water Polo, part of the Verde complex.
Delic was saved from drowning in the Zeta river by his friend Đorđe Stojović in mid-June.
Janović greeted the boys Đorđe and Miomir, as well as his sisters and entered the pool with them and gave them their first swimming lesson.
Janović said that in such situations it is shown that sport is not only recreation, but sometimes also means life.
"That's why you learn to swim. Because you never know. Maybe one of you will be the one who saves. There is no reason not to see you as lifeguards on the beach or in the pool, as swimmers and water polo players," Janović said.
He emphasized that the state is and will be a service for citizens, especially when our youngest expect it from us.
Parents and children thanked the Ministry of Sports and Youth, stressing that the children will use this opportunity to become good swimmers.
