On the occasion of July 13 - the Statehood Day of Montenegro, a delegation of UBNOR and anti-fascists Herceg Novi, along with a large number of present citizens, today laid a wreath at the Bezmetković monument on Savina.
Addressing the audience, the president of UBNOR and Herceg Novi anti-fascist Branko Božović expressed his pride that the new anti-fascists inherited the ideas and works of the fallen fighters and victims of fascist terror, "the freedom fighters, who are the most valuable and sacred, built their lives into the foundations of anti-fascism".
"As much as anti-fascism is an asset of civilization, a superior and superior idea, because freedom, patriotism, the fight of good against evil are invincible, as fascism was militarily and politically defeated in the 20th century, we must not allow, be indifferent and insensitive to the metastasizing of new forms of fascism through nazi-chauvinism, clero-nationalism, terrorizing those who are different and weaker," Božović said.
