The rural road through the village of Duga njiva, which was destroyed due to the storm, was repaired at the request of the residents of that part of Tomaševo, sent through the "System 48" application, which recently came to life in Bijelo Polje.
The municipality of Bjelopolje was the first in the north to introduce a web portal for electronic communication with citizens, called "System 48", which has been operating since the beginning of May.
The new software enables the citizens of Bijelo Polje to report communal problems electronically and in return can expect a solution to the reported problem within 48 hours, or receive an answer on how to solve it.
"As the village is inhabited by old and decrepit people, they can only be reached by off-road vehicles. They contacted the local community several times, but despite the promises, there are no results," the citizens stated in the electronic application they sent on July 6, and their problem has been solved.
In the response of the Secretariat on July 9, there is a recommendation to the citizens to contact the local community, in order to include that road in the road rehabilitation plan that is planned in the Plan of proposed works from the local communities, and that teams are on the ground, after which that part of the road is ready.
From May 9, when the first report was recorded, until today, citizens have submitted 66 different electronic reports for various problems. Most of the requests relate to the problems of potholes on the roads, garbage removal problems, solving the problems of illegal landfills, public lighting...
The Secretary of the Secretariat for Housing and Communal Affairs, Dejan Luković, said that immediately after receiving the request through the "System 48" application, they gave an order to PUC "Lim" and that the teams immediately went out to the field and repaired the holes.
"After the work was done, we sent the photos to the citizens who submitted the requests via the application," Luković said.
He explained that sometimes it is possible to intervene directly, but that there are requirements that also apply to some more demanding works.
"We intervene immediately upon application, but when it comes to communal works that are more demanding and require longer works, we send a reply to the interested parties that we have received the request and that we will go to the field as soon as possible," he explained.
Regarding the 13 applications for potholes on the roads, the problem has been solved in four cases, while the status of the other applications is "in progress". All reports of illegal parking (six), problems with public lighting (four related to the lack of light bulbs), fecal sewage spills (three) and illegal dumping (three) were successfully resolved. All reports related to cleanliness maintenance and garbage removal (three) were also resolved, as well as one case of noise report. Three riverbed maintenance applications were also resolved, while the same number are still in operation. When it comes to applications for stray dogs, for all cases it is stated that the case has been successfully resolved, although in the explanation it is written that the workers of Communal "Lim" did not spot stray dogs at the reported locations.
One of the most recent reports, sent on July 12, refers to illegal parking next to the intersection in Ulica 3. Sandžačka Brigade.
"About 30 years ago, a hill was demolished on top of the Tower to improve visibility at the intersection. Trucks and cars are parked in the same place every day, so the visibility for joining the main road from the direction of the church is terrible. Please note that there have been frequent accidents in that street due to these problems," the citizen's report says.
