The government amended the Decision on the establishment of the Radio Broadcasting Center (RDC) and thereby enabled a permanent source of income for Zagorka Dudi Rabrenović, adviser to former president Filip Vujanović.
This can be seen from the documents adopted at the Government sessions of July 4 and 25.
The latest changes to the decision specify that, among other things, the position of president of the RDC Board of Directors is a professional function, for which a monthly salary of "1,5 times the average salary in the company and all rights based on work" is provided.
According to the RDC's 2017 business report, the average salary in that institution was 650 euros. This means that the new president of the Board of Directors will receive around 1.000 euros.
Rabrenović, the sister of the political director of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Tarzan Milošević, was last week elected president of the Board of Directors of the RDC.
She has been on the Board of Directors of RDC for a little over a month, after she was appointed as a member in the middle of last month instead of Niko Martinović, who resigned.
Until May of last year, Rabrenović was the former head of state's public relations advisor and earned 1.500 euros a month.
The position of president of the Board of Directors of the RDC has not been a professional position since February 2013, when it was abolished by the then prime minister and the current president, Milo Đukanović.
The executive director of Media Center Goran Đurović assessed that the employment of professional presidents of management structures in companies in which the state is the sole owner should be done on the basis of a detailed analysis of the business.
"Also, it is necessary to communicate to the public the reasons for professionalizing the position of the president of the Board of Directors. It is necessary to announce publicly which goals should be achieved with the help of a professional chairman of the Board of Directors. "If there are no clear and public answers to these questions, the only conclusion is that in this case too, it is a case of intimidation of party cadres from which the citizens have no benefit," Đurović told "Vijesti".
Members of the Board of Directors of RDC are Branislav Đuranović, Grujica Lazović, Tvrtko Crepulja and Miodrag Koljević.
The president and members of the Board of Directors of RDC have received fees in the last six years, but their amount was not prescribed.
As can be seen from the report on the income and assets of individual members, that fee was 450 euros last year.
However, last week's Government decision stipulates that four members of the Board of Directors "perform part-time and have the right to a monthly remuneration for work in the amount of 70 percent of the average salary in RDC".
RDC, as stated on their website, among other things, enables the transmission and broadcasting of national and local television and radio media, as well as most regional ones.
RDC rents infrastructure capacities to communication operators and other users in Montenegro, provides access to electronic communication networks and various electronic communication services.
