The municipality of Herceg Novi will allocate 75 thousand euros to support the work of 47 non-governmental organizations that are registered in Montenegro and have their headquarters in Herceg Novi.
The organizations requested five times more than the allocated funds.
The NGO Youth Center for the organization of the International Children's Carnival received the largest amount - 8.000 euros, and the smallest NGO "Mare, Mare" (guardians of tradition and nature) received 520 euros.
Among the recipients of funds are non-governmental organizations and associations, the Circle of Serbian Sisters for the project of patronage assistance to children with disabilities, through the education system, the Association of Parents of Children with Childhood Cancer - Fenix Montenegro, the Club of Voluntary Blood Donors Herceg Novi for the project Be humane, donate blood, Ksena for the project "Don't be a victim but a winner", Ruke, Great Bokeh Festival, Hercegnov Theater for the project "Give Grandma a Head".
At the competition for the distribution of funds for projects of the non-governmental sector, only one request was rejected due to incomplete documentation.
