The BK Val team is the winner of the fifth edition of the exhibition bucar championship on Orjensko sedlo (1600 m), which brought together eight bucar teams from all three Bokele municipalities.
Second place went to BK "Meljine". The third place was taken by BK "Bijela". The teams "Subra", BK Palma, BK Jadran and two BK Bachus teams took part.
The dominance of Novlja continued in the discipline introduced on this occasion - pumpkin shooting, where Đuro Milanović (BK Vala) triumphed. The second was Niko Stijepčević, a member of BK Palma from Tivat, and the third place was won by Dario Serović (BK Val). The event began with the delivery of mail to the tragically injured Montenegrin mountaineer, Milan Radović. The organizer and host was the Subra Mountaineering Club, and the technical organizer was the "Val" Mountaineering Club.
"No matter how important the sports component of the event is, what leads the participants to go out to one of the most remote and isolated places in our hinterland every year is not just a competition, but mountain nature and socializing. On Orjensko sedlo, the natural conditions are more than favorable for the summer practice of rowing, and with the renovation of the zog in 2015, the conditions were once again created for the cultivation of this sport, but even more so for the return of rowing as part of the former way of life, characteristic of the entire Adriatic coast and its hinterland", the organizers stated.
