The wife of the Chinese ambassador, Deng Minli, together with members of the female team of the Chinese embassy in Montenegro, on the occasion of Women's Day, visited the Mladost Children's Home in Bijela and brought school supplies, sports equipment and children's food to the children.
Director of the Home Vladimir Dedić and his assistant Marela Savić explained that the Children's Home long ago established cooperation with Kina Medica in Podgorica, whose representatives regularly come to the Home to provide medical services to children and employees and thus provide an opportunity to learn about Chinese culture and traditional medicine.
Deng pointed out that hanging out with the children from the Home is a nice experience and that "it is fascinating how the teachers in the Home are dedicated to their work and how they transmit the warmth and love that exists in the family to the children with their love".
The Chinese Embassy helps the citizens of Montenegro with various donations, from ambulances, reconstruction of school sports halls, reconstruction of the roof of the school building, to computer equipment for government bodies, reconstruction of the Đurđevića Tara Bridge.
Deng promised that within its possibilities, the Chinese embassy will help the children in the Youth Center, as well as work on more specific collaborative projects.
