After several hours of searching, rangers of the Biogradska Gora National Park (NP) and members of the Protection Service found Zilka Nisim (80), a tourist from Israel, this morning.
The search for him began at 16 pm yesterday. As the Protection Service said, the Israeli was found in a wider area around Lake Biograd.
"The search was complicated by the fact that the tourist from Israel quickly lost his phone because his battery died. Because he had a foreign phone number, we could not locate him. We literally had to 'comb' the pitch and we did it all night. We found him alive and healthy and his vital functions were not threatened," said the Protection Service.
