The Faculty of Architecture of the University of Montenegro plans to enroll 50 students, of which 35 are budgeted and 15 are self-financed, for the academic year 2019/20. year.
The vice-dean for teaching at the Faculty of Architecture, Svetlana Perović, stated that out of the total number, 35 places were provided in the design department (25 budget and 10 self-financing) and 15 places in the urban planning department (10 budget and 5 self-financing).
"One-year specialist studies at the Faculty of Architecture imply a continuation of basic, three-year education in the field of architecture and urban planning and a minimum of formal education that is necessary to achieve active and responsible participation in the creation of new spatial values", said Perović.
From 2016, she added, the Architecture study program, which was implemented according to the 3+1+1 model, was transformed into an integrated five-year Architecture 5+0 program.
"In this process, a mandatory five-year continuous education period until obtaining a diploma was formalized, which further emphasizes the complexity and role of architecture as a regulated profession," concluded Perović.
