At the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Montenegro, a total of 24 places are planned for enrollment in specialist studies, in four study programs. All places are budgetary, it was announced from the University of Montenegro.

The Vice-Dean for Teaching at the Faculty of Fine Arts, MSc Zdravko Delibašić, announced that seven places are planned for the Painting and Graphic Design study programs, while five candidates are planned for the Sculpture and Graphics programs.

"Specialist studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts will be conducted until the upcoming academic year 2019/2020, after which that level of study will be abolished," said Delibašić.

Preference for enrollment in specialist studies, he adds, is given to all students who have achieved 180 ECTS at basic studies in a related fine (artistic) field.

According to Delibašić, specialist studies contribute to the training of students for an independent creative process and the development of their own artistic methods of work.

"In accordance with the current curriculum, after completing specialist studies, students are trained, among other things, to independently conceive, create, realize and justify an artistic project in the field of painting, sculpture, graphics and graphic design. During the process work, the student develops and critically opinion, summarizes the key theoretical arguments according to the adopted material and shapes the author's position on the importance of art/design for contemporary society. After the studies, the student recognizes and independently analyzes the visual language of individual poetics of all artistic fields," said Delibašić.

He expressed the hope that the number of interested candidates will increase during this year's enrollment period, as well as that the move to the new premises of the faculty will increase the spatial capacity in which all students will have better conditions for the further artistic and research process in basic, specialist and master's studies. .
