Bošković: The military training ground cannot damage Sinjajevina and destroy Montenegro as an ecological country

The government is committed to protecting the environment, Minister of Defense Predrag Bošković said.

He said that by participating in the action "Let the mountain turn green!", they want to show responsibility towards a great idea that was created exactly 28 years ago.

Speaking about Sinjajevina, where the Government decided to form a military training ground, Bošković said that it cannot damage the mountain, its biodiversity, and especially destroy Montenegro as an ecological state.

"Exactly the experiences of developed European countries show that where there were military training grounds, they are mostly regional nature parks and as such they serve as an example to others, how and in what way the environment should be protected," Bošković said.
