Despite the fears of the students of the Stomatology Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine that there are few specializations in the field of dentistry in the Clinical Center (KC), the institution assures that they pay great attention to the professional staff.
KC told "Vijesta" that 26 dentists are employed in the Dental Polyclinic, 20 of whom are specialists.
"For the needs of the KC Dental Polyclinic, two doctors completed their specialization during this year, and two more are on specialist internships that will end in 2020," answered the KC.
In that institution, they claim that they pay great attention to the professional staff and that the competition for the award of specializations for all limited units, including the Dental Polyclinic, is conducted in accordance with the Plan and Rules of professional and scientific training.
All staff training, they claim, is carried out in accordance with the needs and future development of that institution.
In the middle of this month, KC announced an internal advertisement for the approval of narrower specializations for healthcare workers for the needs of that institution.
Subspecializations will be approved for one doctor each from the fields of cardioanesthesiology, clinical neurophysiology with epileptology, pain medicine, oncology with a focus on radiotherapy, audiology, nephrology and clinical genetics.
