The chosen doctor for adults from Danilovgrad's "Dimitrije Dika Marenić" Health Center, Miloš Jovanović, explained to the pensioners there what the most common respiratory infections are and how to prevent them.

The lecture held in the premises of the Center for Social Work in Danilovgrad is part of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the PIO Fund of Montenegro, the Health Center and the Danilovgrad Pensioners' Association.

Dr. Jovanović will hold a lecture on the same topic on October 24 in the premises of the Day Center in Spuz.

The Danilovgrad Health Center told "Vijesti" that so far 25 lectures have been held on topics from the field of medicine that most often affect and interest that population.

"Lectures were accompanied by preventive examinations, measurement of blood sugar levels, blood pressure and distribution of propaganda materials - flyers and brochures," said the director of that health institution, Dr. Dejan Mandić.

He pointed out that the PIO Fund and the director of that institution, Duško Perović, who is the signatory of the memorandum, financially supports the implementation of all agreed, but also other activities aimed at improving the provision of health care to pensioners from Danilovgrad.

He also said that pensioners are massively interested in lectures, but also that the PIO Fund helped them purchase a patrol vehicle:

"Which will significantly improve health care and services in the patient's home. Association of Pensioners Danilovgrad, President Nikola Čagorović and members of the Health Care Commission of that Association actively participate in all these activities. Significant support is provided by the Center for Social Work Danilovgrad, headed by director Maja Luketić, who provide us with space and technical logistics," Manidć said.
