Deputy Prime Minister Zoran Pažin paid a working visit to the Holy See yesterday and today, the Government of Montenegro announced.
During the meeting between Pažin and the State Secretary of the Holy See Cardinal Pjetra Parolin, mutual satisfaction with the quality of the bilateral relations between Montenegro and the Holy See was expressed.
It was assessed that Montenegro and the Holy See share fundamental civilizational values of peace and justice which, with the absence of open issues and intense political dialogue, represent a stable support for further productive cooperation in areas of common interest.
It was also confirmed that Parolin will visit Montenegro for the first time already this year, which will represent an additional impetus to the development of cooperation in the spirit of traditionally good and friendly relations between Montenegro and the Holy See.
Pažin used his visit to the Holy See to hold meetings with representatives of the Sovereign Order of Maltese Knights and the Saint Eđidio Community.
