Aleksa Boljević from Podgorica asked the Building Inspection to demolish "the illegal floor of the building next to his house and property in Durres, that is, to act according to the solution that already exists".
He clarified that the investor of the building, the "Bugarin company" from Beran, exceeded the permitted dimensions, that is, raised the floor higher, and violated his "basic living conditions".
"My house and my late brother's house are literally covered by the building. Our houses are built in accordance with the Detailed Urban Plan. We have no basic conditions for life. When the plan for Durrës was adopted, all residents agreed with the proposal in the document, which defined the same number of floors for everyone in the settlement. However, this is clearly outside the rules. And based on the data from the board at the construction site, it can be seen that they exceeded the dimensions, that is, it is clear that one floor is extra", said Boljević.
"Vijesti" could not get in touch with representatives of the company, whose headquarters, according to the Central Registry of the Commercial Court, are in Berane.
Boljević claims that the inspection intervened earlier and "demolished a little of the illegal floor", but that the work continued after that.
"I ask that the law be respected, that is, the demolition decision. I went to the inspection, the employee told me that they cannot demolish in the city center", says Boljević and points out that this explanation is absurd, especially when it is known that they have already intervened on that building once.
The Construction Inspectorate, which is under the authority of the Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism, did not answer "News" to the question of whether they were demolishing the floor, whether they were going to the field after a citizen's report, or whether the demolition decision will be implemented.
Work is underway on the "Bugarin company" building, and according to data from the construction site, it should have been completed in December last year.
Locals say the roof was installed a few days ago.
