The committee club of New Serbian Democracy launched an initiative to convene an extraordinary session of the Municipal Assembly of Pljevlja to discuss the state of health care in Pljevlja.
In addition to Nova councilors, the initiative was signed by DNP and SNP councilors, and it was delivered to the Democrats and the Movement for Pljevlja.
The president of the SO was asked to invite to the meeting the Minister of Health Kenan Hrapović, the director of the Pljevlja General Hospital Erduan Lalović, the director of the Health Center Ilhan Tursumović and the director of the Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance Saša Stefanović.
In the initiative, they also proposed conclusions that should be adopted by the local parliament.
"For the Ministry to take into account the national structure when choosing management personnel, as well as when hiring medical personnel, in order to repair very bad and disturbed interpersonal relations. To enable the doctors of Pljevlja to sub-specialize and specialize as soon as possible, to stop the current corruption in the allocation, so that in a short period of time they will have local staff, unlike the weekend arrivals of privileged doctors. To organize education for medical equipment that there is no one to work on, so that it can be used effectively", are some of the conclusions.
The Ministry is requested to increase the salaries of employees and solve their housing issues.
"That an emergency reception center, which normally exists in all cities in the north of Montenegro, should be formed in the foreseeable future. For the Ministry to verify diplomas. Form two emergency teams in one shift in Pljevlja, as in other cities in the north of Montenegro".
