The Directorate for Emergency Situations of the MUP today called on citizens and competent services to be careful due to the predicted storm with heavy rain and strong, gusty, wind.
They state that, according to information from the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology, the area of Montenegro will be affected by a series of cyclonic activities with several rain waves from November 2 to 10.
"Abundant rain is expected in the central, southern and coastal areas during this period. Heavy rainfall is primarily expected tomorrow, Sunday (November 3), during the night of Sunday to Monday and during the morning on Monday, then again on Wednesday," he said. in the announcement.
The directorate states that this meteorological situation, due to the abundant amount of rain-water and strong southerly wind, can potentially generate certain consequences.
"Due to the heavy rain in these regions and due to the sudden abundant amount of water, fragmented problems (Flash Flood meteorological effect) are potentially possible, primarily in urban areas, on torrential streams, along road routes that cross mountain slopes, in places where they are carried out or are carry out serious construction interventions, where the natural connection of the soil is disturbed and on certain fragments of space where the natural free flow of water is obstructed", the Directorate concludes.
