The machines are currently working in Drijenko, Blatina, Pješčanica. Mechanization will soon be engaged in Crkvine as well," they announced. from that team.
The mechanization of the Municipal and private companies, as well as the contractors on state infrastructure projects, was also yesterday, throughout the day, engaged in removing the consequences of the storm and protecting property and buildings.
In Blatina, the machines worked until late in the evening.
In that village, during the afternoon, two houses were threatened.
The protection service also had a lot of work during the previous day.
Firefighters intervened in several locations, where water penetrated into tourist catering and residential buildings.
The Municipality of Kolašin yesterday sent a request for help to the Directorate for Emergency Situations.
In response to the request, the director of that directorate, Mirsad Mulić, said that he agreed "that the capacities of the Army of Montenegro, which are available, are fully put into the function of protecting grazing and remediating the consequences of natural disasters".
Due to turbidity at the source of the Kolašin city water supply in Rijeka Mušovića, the water is not drinkable even today.
For this reason, Vodovod i Kanalizacija still recommends boiling water before use.
The commander of the Kolašin Protection Service, Željko Darmanović, told the MINA agency that the situation in Kolašin, after the heavy rains on Wednesday, is better and that road rehabilitation is underway.
He stated that the rain stopped around 19 p.m., and that the torrential flows, which caused a lot of damage to access roads and buildings, have calmed down a lot.
"We have a lot of requests from citizens for help and we are visiting the field. We are solving priorities, because some roads need to be repaired in many places," said Darmanović to the MINA agency.
He said that the machines went to repair the road to the village of Pješčanica, where two elderly people were cut off.
"In about two hours, machines will clear the way to them. We are repairing the other roads according to priorities. The water has receded where it was, in the basement and lower rooms of the buildings," said Darmanović.
As he added, with their municipal machinery, they could not respond in all the places that were critical, but many private individuals from Kolašin got involved, as well as companies that work around the highway.
"Everyone who could and had adequate machines responded to the invitation," said Darmanović.
Damaged roads in Mojkovac
In the storm that hit Mojkovac on Wednesday, roads were mostly damaged, and private property much less, said the commander of the Mojkovac Protection Service, Dragan Marković.
He said that today they had no intervention and that they mostly visit the damaged areas and try to restore it to its original state.
"There was no heavy rain tonight, the night was calm. Watercourses generally return to their beds. "Mostly, the roads are damaged, and in connection with that, people call most often, and private property less so," Marković told the MINA agency.
As he stated, the buildings were not damaged.
"We had three houses that were threatened, but we quickly regulated and prevented more water from entering," added Marković.
He said that they have enough manpower and machinery, and private machinery is also included.
