In the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG), the reconstruction and modernization of spatial capacities is underway, and the works are worth more than 1,6 million euros, said the director of that health institution, Jevto Eraković.
He said that KCGG is a large construction site today.
"We have invested significant financial resources in the reconstruction of many clinics and departments of KCCG. "At the Institute for Children's Diseases, the intensive care unit for the youngest patients is being reconstructed, as well as the space that will be used to accommodate the new scanner," said Eraković.
He stated that the reconstruction of the Internal Clinic, which has not been renovated practically since the opening of KCCG, is in progress and added that this investment is worth more than 230 thousand euros.
"In the Clinic for Urology, the adaptation of new urology rooms is underway, which, along with the equipment we acquired worth 400 euros, will significantly improve this segment of the Clinical Center," said Eraković.
He said that the reconstruction and adaptation of the Dental Polyclinic, which will receive the most modern working conditions, is in progress and that, in addition to the large number of patients who are already users of their services, he expects new patients as well.

According to Eraković, the KCCG Neurology Clinic will soon begin equipping and establishing a new Intensive Care Unit, where the most complex patients will be accommodated, in the most modern conditions for their treatment.
"The adaptation of the bunker where the new linear accelerator will be located is underway, and the value of these works is around 60 thousand euros," Eraković pointed out.
He said that a significant part of the money was provided from the budget, with the help of the Government of Montenegro and the Health Insurance Fund, and emphasized the large share of donors within those funds.
Eraković adds, they are trying to round off the system they started with the intensive training of staff and the acquisition of significant state-of-the-art equipment with the works at KCCG.
Eraković said that by creating better conditions for the work of doctors and the stay of patients, they will try to complete that picture.
"Of course this is not the end. We have significant plans for next year as well, and we hope that we will implement future projects according to a similar principle", said Eraković.
According to him, patients will soon be able to return to the rooms belonging to the clinics where reconstruction is underway.
"To their satisfaction and ours, together we will have the opportunity to witness a new and real improvement of work in KCCG", concluded Eraković.
