The Directorate for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs appeals to citizens to take the necessary measures and actions in order to reduce the risk of possible floods due to the announced new wave of rain.
They add that the Directorate and other entities from the system are still on alert and are monitoring the development of the situation on the ground and "are ready to respond to any new situation with all available human and material-technical capacities".
"Today, the water level of the rivers is decreasing, while the level of Lake Skadar is slightly increasing, but for now there are no major threats to material goods and facilities in the area. We received information from the competent institutions of the Republic of Albania that for now there is no water discharge from the hydroelectric power plants on Drim River. The representatives of CEDIS have made the electricity distribution network ready, so that the area of Broćanc in the municipality of Nikšić is now properly supplied with electricity," it was announced.
