The Prosecutor's Council interviewed three candidates, who submitted an application for the new head of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje.
Senior state prosecutor from Bijelo Polje Vladan Đalović, who also worked in the ODT in that city and Berane, answered the questions of Stanković and the members of the Prosecutor's Council, what is his motive to assume the leadership position in the ODT Bijelo Polje.
Đalović emphasized several times during the interview that he had a good relationship with his colleagues and that he wanted to "improve the already good work of his former colleagues at ODT Bijelo Polje".
The second candidate, prosecutor and spokesperson Denis Zvrko, emphasized that his motive for candidacy was because he wants to fight even harder against all types of crime, and after him, Katarina Kljajević, deputy of the higher state prosecutor's office in Bijelo Polje, explained his candidacy and answered questions.
She emphasized that she has been a deputy in the ODT and the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje for more than 20 years, and that she knows very well the management and work of those parts of the prosecutor's organization. Kljajević pointed out that she has an excellent relationship with her colleagues, but also with the police and other institutions with which prosecutors cooperate on a daily basis.
Today, the Prosecutor's Council confirmed the decisions of the Commission for Complaints on the Work of Prosecutors in several complaints, which were sent to the Prosecutor's Office. One complaint was assessed as not being the competence of the Prosecutorial Council, and it was decided to return that case to the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office.
At the session, it was also said that a public competition should be announced for the selection of two senior prosecutors in Bijelo Polje according to the system of advancement in the service, as well as one senior prosecutor in Podgirica. According to the same principle, it was clarified that the competition should also be asked for one position for a special prosecutor in the framework of the SDT.
The prosecutor's council also dealt with the confirmation of proposals for compensation for overtime work, standby, but also variables and other compensation for the work of prosecutors.
