The devastating earthquake that hit Albania two days ago caused material damage to the Administrative Building of Jugooceanija in Kotor, RTCG Portal reports.
"So far, several dozens of broken glasses, marble facade panels, marble panels for interior linings in the halls and corridors of the building, ruptured hydrophoric water pipes, cracks on the walls and ceilings, as well as some structural damage that was observed earlier, and are the result of damage from earthquake from 1979", was announced to Portal RTCG from the company Boka Bay Investment, which is the owner of the building.
The largest cracks, as stated, were observed at the points and joints of the main beams and supporting columns of the building and represent a serious safety hazard in the event of additional seismic earthquakes.
The company states that the estimated value of the damage is tens of thousands of euros.
