The fountain in the University Park in Podgorica, in the restoration of which around 50.000 euros was invested, was destroyed before it was officially put into operation, it was announced from the Capital City.

"The intention of the city and its partners was that Podgorica, its citizens and all visitors, on the eve of December 19, Podgorica's Liberation Day, get another nice place to gather and hang out, especially since it is a university complex, where a large number of people circulate every day people. However, our citizens, unfortunately, did not get the opportunity to enjoy this new corner of the city, because it was also the target of vandals," they state from the Capital City.

They remind that in the previous period, unscrupulous individuals targeted city parks, green areas, New Year's decorations, city fountains, fountains, public lighting, as well as numerous other facilities for the restoration of which, they point out, the capital city and competent companies invested significant funds, which could have been invested in new stocks.

"On this occasion, for the umpteenth time, we appeal to our fellow citizens to protect the property of their city and report any kind of behavior like this to the competent authorities," said the local self-government.
