Nearly 60 graduates of the Bjelopolje Gymnasium "Miloje Dobrašinović" and Vocational High School donated blood today in the rooms of the Department of Transfusion of the Bjelopolje Hospital, participating in the action "Lend a hand for life, donate blood".

As Nikola Simović, executive director of the NGO "Kan", said, this action is being held for the third time, which has turned it into a traditional one.

"This year, 25 students from the Secondary Vocational School and 31 students from the "Miloje Dobrašinović" Gymnasium applied. As an organizer, but also as a professor, I am proud of the students, because with this act they showed their readiness and maturity to be responsible members of society, helping when needed", said SImović.

The director of the Vocational High School, Semir Balić, also expressed his satisfaction with the turnout, saying that the school will support similar actions.

Mađan Živković from OO Crveni krst BIjelo Polje noted that this is the largest turnout so far, and reminded that the action is being held as part of the Red Cross Day, which takes place from November 29 to December 6.
