Kolaša will host MOSI in 2021

The decision of the Assembly of the Inter-Municipal Youth Sports Games (MOSI) to host the event in 2021 in Kolašin has fulfilled a decades-long sports dream in that city, according to the Kolašin local administration. As those most responsible for the preparation of the candidacy said at today's press conference, there is a lot of work to be done in order to welcome the 2.000 participants of the event as ready as possible.

Those in charge of the preparatory work during the submission of the candidacy were Milan Đukić, president of the SO, and Milivoje Bulatović, director of the Municipal Enterprise with the logistics of the competent municipal authorities.

"The competent municipal secretariats made the necessary analyzes of the state of the existing sports infrastructure and the possibility of building a new one. At the extraordinary session, we received the consent of the municipal parliament and the candidacy was submitted. Until December 6, when the decision was made, we organized positive and reasoned lobbying, promoting two views - Kolašin has the capacity to organize MOSI, as well as that our city has never been an organizer until now, even though it has been participating in the tpj event for almost four decades," said Đukić.

He announces that a meeting of all competent institutions will be organized at the local level, and then at the national level, "because the hosts of MOSI 2021 are Kolašin and Montenegro". The upcoming tasks, notes Đukić, are the management of the design, financing and construction of facilities and arrangements within the Lugo sports zone.

Bulatović expects that all holders of jobs and tasks will understand the historical significance of receiving the MOSI household.

"The sporting, touristic, cultural, international importance of this event has long been known to other municipalities. That is why, year after year, more and more cities are fighting to get the organization of the biggest amateur sports show in the Balkans... I think that we deserve to get the organization and sports performance and tourist power, which our city has. MOSI with over 2000 participants will be a test of our organizational and tourist qualities," Bulatović said.
