Today, the Vezišnica River is almost black in the part of its flow downstream from the Thermal Power Plant Pljevlja, which was recorded on camera by one of the readers of Vijesti.
Vaso Knežević, president of the Sport Fishing Club Lipjen, which manages the waters of Pljevlja, said that their activists visited the location and determined that the pollution of the river originates from the crushing plant of the Coal Mine near Termoektrana.
Knežević said that the rain washes coal, mud and dust into the Vezišnica River, which he claims was confirmed by the Coal Mine.
Knežević said that something similar is happening at the exit of the Ćehotina river from the Pliješ tunnel.
