The Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama, presented a gold medal and a thank you plaque to the Montenegrin rescue team that provided help and support to Albania after the earthquake that occurred on November 26, 2019.
"During the New Year's reception organized for the diplomatic corps, Prime Minister Rama thanked Montenegro, our people and the rescue team on behalf of Albania and the Albanian people. He said that a small country like Montenegro immediately came to the rescue, which will remain forever. remembered and highly appreciated," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
The award was received on behalf of Montenegro by the chargé d'affaires at the Montenegrin Embassy in Albania, Vesna Radonjić.
She thanked Prime Minister Rama and pointed out that Montenegro highly appreciates this award, the MUP announced.
