The icy air from Siberia has not brought anything memorable to Durmitor in recent days.
As the meteorologists announced, the "beast from the east" passed and at the very end still left a memory - the lowest temperatures recorded this winter.
On the night between Wednesday and Thursday, at two o'clock, the official measuring instruments showed 20 degrees Celsius below zero.
Since then, the temperature has been rising, and at 13 pm on Thursday, minus two degrees were measured.
Neither such a pronounced temperature oscillation, nor 110 centimeters of snow, excited the people of Žabljak, who are used to even harsher living conditions.
All services in the city, as in previous days, are functioning normally.
There are no problems with water and electricity supply either.
There were no interruptions in the operation of the ski resort.
Traffic is moving normally on all regional and main roads, although the southerly wind started blowing yesterday.
A blizzard that brings snow to the road is not an obstacle because the "Crnagoraput" machinery is constantly present and working, the company announced. It is walkable to all villages, except for Mala Crne Gora and the most distant ones on the slopes of Sinjajevina.
