The Clinical Center of Montenegro will continue on the path of success, said the director of that health institution, Jevto Eraković, and added that 6,5 million euros were invested in its renovation and procurement of medical equipment this year.

On the occasion of December 19 - KCCG Day, Eraković said that a lot had been done, as well as that all the planned tasks and goals had been fulfilled.

"I am proud that we have the opportunity to boast of new, state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment procedures, medical equipment of the latest generation, educated, professional staff, who are most responsible for our results," said Eraković.

He announced the construction of a new clinic for rheumatology, the acquisition of state-of-the-art mammograms, the construction of a new day hospital of the internal clinic, as well as a completely new space for the Center for Immunology and Genetics.

"From tomorrow, another device like this will be in operation, so for this type of treatment there is no need to refer patients to health centers outside Montenegro, but the complete treatment can be obtained at KCCG", said Eraković.

According to him, KCCG has the most modern magnetic resonance, angio room, new scanners and a large number of new medical devices.

"The Institute for Children's Diseases has been provided with an MRI machine, complete equipment for the Intensive Care Department, an operating table and instruments in the operating room, the most modern ultrasound machines, and the procurement of a new scanner is in progress," Eraković pointed out.

As he stated, the renewal of the medical equipment was accompanied by the modernization of the work space, for which approximately EUR XNUMX million was allocated.

Eraković believes that it is not all about new equipment and a nice space, because the quality of work is achieved thanks to the professional and trained medical staff.

"That's why the focus this year was also on education and professional training of doctors. There are 317 specialists, 95 subspecialists and 166 doctors on specialization working at KCCG," said Eraković.

He pointed out that with the support of the Government and the Ministry of Health, financial resources were provided for the education of young medical personnel, while the Clinical Center established cooperation with renowned European health centers.

As he said, all the achievements of KCCG are not the result of the work of this or a number of years, but the result of selfless and selfless efforts of generations of doctors who created and developed KCCG.

"Their professionalism and reputation, which they had in Montenegro, and above all their attitude towards patients, are a role model for all of us, and they should be for generations to come," believes Eraković.

Today, as he stated, the Clinical Center is European and modern thanks to the people who were at its head, managed responsibly and had a vision of its development.

"In the coming period, we will continue on the well-trodden paths of success, so you will soon witness the realization of new projects, adopting and applying modern medical achievements in KCCG, with the aim of taking care of the health and life of citizens", said Eraković.
