Of the 20 public officials who left their seats in private companies in the period from 2018 to the middle of 2019, the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption initiated proceedings in almost half of these cases after the "News" was written.
The Law on Prevention of Corruption stipulates that a public official cannot, among other things, be an executive director or an authorized representative in a company. Once they enter public office, they have 30 days to leave one of two positions.
In less than four years of work, from the beginning of work in 2016 until now, the agency has made 75 decisions in this area.
According to the Agency's data, councilors most often did not leave private companies within the legal deadline.

In the part that refers to the period from January 2018 to June 2019, the Agency made 20 decisions.
Among them are nine of those that "Vijesti" wrote about, and they also refer to representatives of the government and the opposition at the state or local level who are in public positions.

Based on what "Vijesti" wrote, the position of executive director of "Svjetlost elmonta" has been left by the councilor of the Democratic Party of Socialists in the Municipal Council of Nikšić, Đorđina Januković.
The same thing was done by the Democratic councilor in Mojkovac Municipal Council Tatjana Simić, who was the acting director and authorized representative of the "Dr. Vaso Đurović" Veterinary Institution.
The member of the Democratic Front in SO Kolašin Aleksandar Dožić had to leave the position of authorized representative of "Ideje S", the member of the Bosniak Party in SO Bar Munib Ličina from the same position in "Meddis".
The member of the Bosniak Party in the SO Rožaje Besim Kurbardović had to resign from "Selena", where he was an authorized representative.
