Yesterday, members of the Air-helicopter unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs transported two premature twins from the hospital in Bijelo Polje, whose lives were in danger, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced.
"They tried to transport them from the Bjelopolje hospital by vehicle, but due to the risk involved in the long journey, it was estimated that the only way to transport them was by helicopter, so they turned to the Aviation Helicopter Unit of the MUP. Thanks to the quick reaction of members of the Aviation Helicopter unit, the babies were transported to the Clinical Center of Montenegro and today they are in a stable condition," the announcement states.
The babies were accompanied by anesthesiologist Dr. Kenan Erović, Dr. Ismihana Erović and medical technician Jelena Veličković.
