The initiatives submitted by individuals to the Constitutional Court for the evaluation of the constitutionality of certain provisions of the Law on Freedom of Religion were not made in agreement with the Church, nor were they coordinated with its representatives, the Metropolis of Montenegro and the Littoral (MCP) announced.

On January 8, Belgrade lawyers Milenko and Momir Radić submitted to the Constitutional Court of Montenegro an initiative to assess the compatibility of the Law on Freedom of Religion with the Constitution and international treaties.
