A litany was held in the streets of Podgorica even today due to the adoption of the Law on Freedom of Religion.

The liturgy, in which the clergy of the Metropolis of Montenegro and the Littoral (MCP) and citizens participated, started from the Church of Christ's Resurrection.

Priest Darko Đogo from Republika Srpska said that they love Montenegro there more than many here.
"I came because I know the old wisdom. Woe to a brother without his brother... We know that when injustice comes, we should tell it to its face that it is injustice," said Đogo.
He said that apart from Christ, they have no enemy.
He told the citizens that they must be careful, because these are the times.
"Understand one thing. There are protests in the world without us. There are walks, idle people walk. We are not idle. We are doing God's work here. These are not walks, nor rallies, this is a sanctuary. Litija, that is when God speaks to man." said Đogo.
Archangel Sergej from the Ostrog monastery said that "God appeared to our generation and brought the people to litias, which take place exclusively at the call of God and at his appearance."
"It is a testimony that so many people manage to preserve what is most beautiful in man - dignity, peace, love, mutual respect. This is what the church and gentlemen want," emphasized Sergej.
He said that "our ancestors built sanctuaries because God appeared to them, and that it is up to us to protect them because we know that they built it to be the church of God".
"Our ancestors built these sanctuaries, which we say we should not and cannot give, because they are not ours. They are theirs and will be ours when we fully unite with the Lord," said Sergej.
The participants of the liturgy arrived earlier at the Church of Christ's Resurrection, and went from the church of St. George in the Donja Gorica neighborhood of Podgorica.
Citizens who left Krus at 16 p.m. to the church in Beri, and then to Donja Gorica, as well as citizens who left at 17 p.m. from the monastery of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Dajbabska gora, joined the liturgy.
Before leaving Donja Gorica for the Church of Christ's Resurrection, citizens were told to gather to testify that temples are not only buildings and cultural assets, but also sources of blessings.
"That's why we have to preserve them for posterity", the participants of the procession were told, with a prayer that everything will pass peacefully as before.
The participants chanted "We will not give the holy things".
Lities have been organized on Thursdays and Sundays since Christmas as a sign of protest against the adoption of the Law on Freedom of Religion.
