From the end of May to the end of last year in Bijelo Polje, citizens reported 48 communal problems through "System 202".
Bijelo Polje is the first municipality in the north that introduced a web portal for electronic communication with citizens called "System 48", which serves to quickly solve the communal problems they face.
"The first response for all of them was within 48 hours from the moment of system administrator validation. There were 169 successfully closed applications (83,6 percent), 24 are in operation, three are incompetent, the same number are pending, while two applications were rejected," said Bojan Obradović, head of the Municipality's Information System Department and chief administrator of the "System 48”.
He explained that "System 48" is software that allows citizens to electronically report a communal problem, and in return they can expect a solution to the reported problem within 48 hours or receive an answer about the method and procedure for solving it.
"The application is very easy to use, so citizens can easily choose a category of problem, describe it, find the location on the map, post pictures of the problem, leave contact information and choose the notification method.
The system can be accessed through the official website of the Municipality of Bijelo Polje, where the "System 48" banner is prominently displayed, or via a mobile android application that can be found on the Google Play market under the name "System 48 Bijelo Polje", while it will soon be operational and iOS app.
"Five operators from different administrative bodies have been trained to work on the application, who, together with the system administrator, check the validity of the application, respond to communal problems and mediate between citizens, the web application and employees in their service in order to solve communal problems as efficiently as possible. "Often along with the written answer, it is practiced to post pictures of the remediation of the problem, which is the best proof of the efficiency of the system," said Obradović.
He explains that the total number of categories for which a problem can be reported is 20, which are classified by the departments in charge of them: Secretariat for housing, communal affairs and traffic, DOO "Komunalno-Lim", Secretariat for inspection affairs, DOO Vodovod "Bistrica" and Municipal police.
