Director of the Clinical Center Jevto Eraković told "Vijesta" tonight that the tents set up in front of the Clinic for Infectious Diseases were a simulation.

The tents have since been removed.

"The simulation only serves to show how the staff should dispose of protective equipment - coats, masks, goggles. We will, of course, provide quality conditions, but this was just a simulation. The tents are not for patients, but exclusively for the disposal of medical material", said Eraković to "Vijesta".

The Clinical Center explained earlier today that the tents are there "as a precaution" and "so there is no room for panic".

After increased public interest in what the tents are actually for, the Clinical Center also clarified earlier today that they are intended to replace the contaminated protective clothing of medical workers, who will work with patients who are under suspicion or possibly infected with the coronavirus.

"To date, the Clinical Center of Montenegro has not diagnosed a single case in which the presence of the coronavirus has been confirmed. In order to prevent the spread of this infectious disease, the KCCG has taken all necessary measures in accordance with the national action plan in the event of the occurrence of the coronavirus," said PR KCCG Gorica. Sokovic.

He emphasizes that there is no room for panic, but appeals to citizens to be responsible and patient, and to respect all the advice and recommendations of competent institutions and doctors.

"KCCG adopted an action plan for the reception of patients, and precisely for the purpose of preventive measures, tents were set up in front of the Clinic for Infectious Diseases," said Soković.
