Supervisors of the Skadarko Lake National Park (NP) caught two people in commercial poaching in the Koma region near Skadar Lake.
"The vessel, outboard motor and fishing nets were temporarily confiscated from the persons found, and the persons were prosecuted by the competent state authorities," announced the NP Skadarsko jezero.
NP Skadar Lake once again appealed to all visitors to behave responsibly towards this protected area and act in accordance with the law.
"Also, we remind you that the Public Enterprise for National Parks of Montenegro has established a Call Center to enable conscientious citizens to deal effectively with reports of illegal activities in this protected natural asset. "Citizens can report all observed illegal activities by calling the phone number 067/000-825 within 24 hours," concludes the announcement of the NP.
