In the Municipality of Nikšić, a controlled process of work and on-call has been introduced as of today, as a preventive temporary measure to prevent the introduction into the country, suppression and prevention of the transmission of the new coronavirus.
The President of the Municipality of Nikšić, Veselin Grbović, decided to introduce the Decision on controlled work and on-call duty due to, as reported, the protection of public health, and based on the Law on Local Self-Government, the Statute of the Municipality of Nikšić and the Order to take temporary measures.
The decision, as stated, orders the elders of all local government bodies to ensure the continuation of the smooth operation of the work process and exercise of citizens' rights, taking into account the state of health, age and family circumstances of the employees and other circumstances, due to which they should not be exposed to an increased risk of diseases, as well as protecting citizens' health.
"In accordance with the Decision, measures have been determined to achieve a controlled work process, which foresee work with a minimum number of employees who will stay in the Nikšić Municipality building, as well as work from home," the announcement stated.
The local administration urged citizens not to submit requests in person unless absolutely necessary, but via e-mail - predjejdek@niksic.me and to leave accurate and precise information in them, so that they can be contacted.
Citizens can also get information about exercising their rights by phone at 040/214-239, and they can submit requests to the official e-mails of all managers of local government bodies highlighted on the website of the Municipality of Nikšić.
The same decision, as stated, also introduced an obligation for the President of the Municipality, vice-presidents, the President of the Municipal Assembly, the Secretary of the Municipal Assembly, the Chief Administrator, as well as all managers of local government bodies to be on duty on a daily basis and monitor the development of the situation and regularly inform citizens about their activities.
The decision will be applied, as announced, until the end of the reasons for the implementation of special measures.
