Users of the services of m:tel Crna Gora im:tel BiH, a member of the Telekom Srbija group, will soon be able to pay for parking in Belgrade via SMS.
As announced by m:tel, the development of the mobile parking payment service is the subject of a Letter of Intent, signed in Belgrade on February 22, by Telekom Srbija General Manager Predrag Ćulibrko and Director of JKP Parking Service Belgrade Andrija Čupković.
The signing was attended by the mayor of Belgrade Siniša Mali, the executive director of m:tel Montenegro Vladimir Lučić and the general director of m:tel Banja Luka Marko Lopičić.
"The development of this service is one of the advantages of regional business. The realization of this joint idea, which will primarily facilitate the stay of users from Montenegro and BiH in the capital of Serbia, is important both for the Telekom Srbija group and for the City of Belgrade. Our users from Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina will pay for parking in the future by sending SMS messages from their networks," Ćulibrk pointed out.
Executive Director of m:tel, Vladimir Lučić, in addition to his satisfaction in the implementation of another regional project of the Telekom Srbija group, especially pointed out: "M:tel Montenegro stopped roaming to Serbia 4 years ago, and most people who have the need to frequently stay in Serbia has recognized this and our users, and this service will certainly make their stay easier and complete the already positive relationship with the Telekom Srbija group, as a regional leader in providing quality and affordable services.
m:tel said that after testing the service, which is in progress, users will be able to use the SMS payment option for parking in different zones in Belgrade simply and without keeping track of currency.
"M:tel users will be directly informed about all the details about the way the service is implemented, as well as about the use of the service in other major cities of Serbia in the coming period," the announcement concludes.
