The Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) distributed valuable monetary awards last year, and the members of that body were also awarded - Governor Radoje Žugić and Vice-Governor Miodrag Radonjić.
This can be seen from the regular annual property records that the two submitted to the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
The CBCG is governed by an eight-member Council, which includes the governor, three vice-governors and four members who are not employed by it. According to the Statute, the governor is also the chairman of the Council.
The governor reported to the Agency that in April and May last year he received awards from the CBCG Council with a total value of 6.425, and the vice-governor reported that in the same period and on the same basis he was gifted with 5.085 euros.
The cards of the other two vice-governors are not available at this time.
The governor reported to the Agency that his basic salary last year ranged from less than 3.085 euros in the first months to less than 5.025 euros in the last, which is an increase of 1.940 euros.
He received another 700 euros per month as president of the CBCG Council for Financial Stability.
When it comes to salary supplements, he reported that in September and December he received 450 euros each in the name of winter leave, i.e. allowances.
He also reported that he received less than 7.080 euros in tax refunds last year. The record states that his wife Milanka Žugić earns 900, and his son Luka Žugić earns 500 euros per month at KK Budućnost. According to the card, he has been in the basketball club since March.
When it comes to real estate, the governor inherited a house of 294 square meters and a plot of land of 315 square meters, while his wife owns a cottage of 113 square meters and 400 square meters of land.
"Toyota rav4" from 2009 is also referred to the governor.
When it comes to savings, he has 42.600 euros in the bank, while the year before he had 90.500 euros. His wife has 7.000 euros in cash.
Žugići has shares in five joint stock companies.
Vice-Governor Radonjić reported to the Agency that his salary varied last year, so at the beginning it was around 2.890 euros, and at the end of the year it reached a little more than 4.600 euros.
In March of last year, he received a little more than 3.100 euros on the basis of a tax refund.
Radonjić is the owner of two apartments of 76 and 109 square meters with garages, the smaller of which he bought and the larger he inherited, and a house under construction for which the square footage is not specified. He is also the owner of a field of 3.484 and a vineyard of 4.460 square meters acquired by purchase.
He drives a three-year-old Škoda Kodiak, and he owns shares in two joint-stock companies.
Neither the governor nor the vice-governor gave the Agency permission to inspect the bank accounts.
