The humanitarian organization "Orphans of the Balkans", based in Kosovo, donated 100 aid packages of food and hygiene products to Ulcinj and Tuzi.

"Orphans of the Balkans" are known for helping to build houses and apartments for families in Kosovo. So far, in cooperation with the diaspora and local municipalities, they have built more than a thousand houses and donated several apartments to vulnerable families. Last year they also built a house in Vladimir in Ulcinj for a family.

Three thousand liters of disinfection solution were distributed in ten municipalities in the north, through the humanitarian action "Sterilizer", as an aid in the prevention of the new coronavirus. Airports of Montenegro, in cooperation with the small craft brewery "Montenegro Brewing Co" from Spuž, presented a donation to crisis municipal headquarters in Šavnik, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Bijelo Polje, Berane, Rožaje, Andrijevica, Plava, Gusinje and Petnjica.

After the employees, management and management of EPCG, and the trade union organization of employees paid the amount of 5.500 euros to the account of NKT. After a donation of 100.000 euros and 20.000 euros donated to the Clinical Center, Podgorička banka and Crnogorska komercijalna banka (CKB) provided 260 aid packages to the oldest clients with the lowest incomes. A team of employees of Hipotekarna banka, in cooperation with the Studio for interactive design "Fleka", launched a humanitarian campaign to collect funds through the online platform www.aplauzmedicinarima.me. The goal of the campaign is to collect funds for the purchase of protective equipment for all healthcare workers in the amount of 50.000 euros. The first donors are employees of Hipotekarna banka, and the total sum of 8.130 euros was collected through the payment.

Judges of the Higher Court in Podgorica, individually and collectively, donated a total of 7.812 euros from their March earnings.

After participating in a donation of 20.000 euros to KCCG with their fellow councilors, deputies and ministers from the DPS, the councilors of the DPS in Bijelo Polje provided additional funds in the amount of 2.000 euros, which will be paid to the NKT. The municipal board of DPS handed over to Kolašin CK, which contains 10 tons of flour, two pallets of packages with food and chemicals and 100 packages with wardrobe.

Zoran Leković from Białystok, who is working in Germany, donated twelve packages with basic food items to MZ Nedakusi. A few days ago, Leković sent donations to the Municipalities of Pavino Polje and Kovren. A humanitarian from Nikšić, who wished to remain anonymous, donated an oxygen concentrator to the Municipality of Budva. The President of the Municipality, Marko Carević, forwarded the device to the Budva Health Center.

Boris Rašković, a businessman from the Nikšić County, donated 45 packages of basic food items that will be distributed to the residents of the County who need help. The Council and Ministry of Health, together with the Red Cross, have so far distributed aid to around 50 families in the parish.

The Viber community of the Municipality of Tivat has become an important source of information not only for the citizens of Tivat but also for a much wider population, and the information posted in English also attracted the attention of foreign citizens living in Boka, the Municipality assessed. The Viber community called Municipality of TIVAT - Community, formed about twenty days ago, and in a short time "achieved significant success, so 4.500 members follow the information of the local government through this channel". Through the viber community, 136 messages, inquiries and requests from citizens have been received and answered so far. Since March 15, the municipality has put all its channels of communication with citizens - website, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter - into the function of informing about the epidemiological situation. The local communities of the Municipality submitted lists of persons from risk categories who need the support of volunteers from the municipal team. This support is already being implemented and will be supplemented with a new distribution of humanitarian aid for households in a state of social need.

120 aid packages with basic foodstuffs and hygiene products were delivered in recent days by the Protection and Rescue Service from Plužine and the municipal organization CK.

Beća: Thanks to everyone for helping Riverside

The President of the Association for the Support of Roma and Egyptians of Berane, Sultan Beća, thanked the numerous donors who, in recent days, came to the aid of the most vulnerable social group in the Riverside neighborhood of Berane.

"I would like to thank, first of all, the Committee of the Berane Islamic Community, which provided flour and through the private bakery "Mladost" delivered a hundred kilograms of bread to Roma and Egyptians every day. This action, thanks to the donation of the owner of the "Burko" butcher shop, will continue even after April 15," said Beća.

According to him, some non-governmental organizations and associations from Montenegro and the region came to the aid of this population in Berane. "Thus, the organization "Epeko" from Slovenia provided packages with food and hygiene products to all elementary school students from our neighborhood," said Beća.

He added that the organization Mladi Romi from Podgorica helped with the construction works around the Riverside settlement, i.e. the filling of gravel and landscaping of the surrounding area.

"We in the settlement now follow the instructions and orders of the NKT, like all other citizens. In our country, the situation is more difficult due to the large population and number of inhabitants, but we try to comply with the orders. That's why we welcome this help," said Beća.

At the very beginning of the declaration of the epidemic, the municipal team for emergency situations marked these settlements as the most endangered, and the Municipality of Berane, through the Red Cross, as directly as possible, decided to provide significant aid in food and hygiene products for RAE pollution in these settlements.

Tsarević: The ban on recreational fishing is illogical

Regarding the ban on all sport-recreational fishing, which includes fishing from a boat, fishing from the shore and underwater fishing, which caused dissatisfaction among the citizens of the coastal municipalities, the president of the Municipality of Budva, Marko Carević, sent a letter to the NKT in which he opposes such measures, stating that he considers them illogical, too restrictive and rigorous.

"Such a measure is redundant for the reason that the nature of sport-recreational fishing implies an activity that mostly takes place individually or in pairs, so that there can be no violation of social distance. Sports-recreational fishing is an activity that does not involve the presence of a large number of people in a closed space, but the presence of a maximum of two people in an open space, where the possibility of transmission of the new corona virus is impossible or at least possible in comparison to all other situations," says Carević.
