The working group for assessing the impact of the corona virus on the economy of the Capital Cetinje, which includes representatives of all political parties that participate in the work of the local parliament and local administration officials, held a constituent session today, the capital announced.
As they explain, the Working Group was formed by the Mayor of the Capital City of Cetinje, Aleksandar Kašćelan, after considering the situation in Cetinje due to the corona virus pandemic, as well as the interest of local businessmen and other actors of public and political life in potential support measures.
"In a constructive dialogue, the participants of the meeting exchanged opinions on potential support measures and agreed to submit the proposals in writing to the local administration as soon as possible so that at the next meeting, which is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2020, they will have a unified proposal of measures for further action," the announcement states.
As they announced, it was also agreed that the Center for Local Economic Development and EU Funds would open a special telephone line through which entrepreneurs and business companies could be informed about measures to support the economy brought by the Government of Montenegro and the Capital City of Cetinje.
"In addition to the mayor of Kašćelan, the meeting was attended by Momčilo Martinović from the Democratic Party of Socialists, Ivan Gazivoda from the Social Democrats of Montenegro, Filip Adžić from the Civic Movement URA, Nikola Đurašković from the Social Democratic Party and Danilo Mrvaljević from the Democrats of Cetinje". the announcement says and adds that the President of the Mayor's Economic Council Branko Vujović, Secretary of the Secretariat for Finance and Economic Development Branka Radović, Director of the Local Public Revenue Administration Nikola Turčinović and Director of the Property Directorate Tanja Rakočević Krdžić also participated.
