Public institutions founded by the Municipality of Pljevlja, the "Stevan Samardžić" library, the "Vitomir Srbljanović" gallery and the Local Museum, will start operating on May 4, it was announced after the meeting of the Municipal Protection and Rescue Team.
Institutions will work with maximum compliance and respect for all measures, above all physical distance, and entry will be allowed only to persons wearing a protective mask and gloves.
"We are pleased with the fact that there are no coronavirus patients in Pljevlja and that the epidemiological situation is extremely favorable, which indicates to us that the people of Pljevlja have responded successfully when it comes to respecting all the measures and recommendations adopted so far. At the same time, this situation additionally obliges us to continue to act responsibly in order to prevent the introduction of the virus into our city and preserve the health of every citizen. During the meeting, it was announced that currently only 10 people are under self-isolation on the territory of our municipality," the statement of the Oštinje team states.
It was also decided that the Municipality will pay the Red Cross money for the purchase of 120 packages with basic food items that would be handed over to taxi service employees and people who lost their jobs due to the current situation.
With the financial support of the Municipality, more than 500 aid packages were distributed to citizens in urban and rural areas through the Central Committee, and the Municipal Organization of the Central Committee distributed over 200 packages.
"Members of the Pljevlja Security Center and the Communal Police of the Municipality of Pljevlja will continuously monitor compliance with the measures, especially taking into account the tradition of celebrating the upcoming May Day holidays in our city," according to the announcement of the Municipal Headquarters for Protection and Rescue.
