The traditional May Day opening of the season in the "Biogradska Gora" National Park, this year, was in no way similar to the previous ones. In the Biogradska Prašuma, according to the ranger service of that NP, on Friday there were six anglers and several others who came on foot from the ramp on Kraljevo kol to the lake.
In previous years, on the first day of May, usually more than 1.000 visitors "opened" the season. This year, they explain in the NP, the measures of the National Coordination Team (NCT) did not allow more numerous visits.
This year, due to the ban on intercity traffic, only residents of Kolasin and residents of Mojkov could get to the lake. You could only drive to Kraljevi kol, from there a few kilometers to the heart of the rainforest on foot.
In NP, however, as they say, they are nearing the end of preparations for the season. They claim that they will be ready to welcome the "relaxation of measures".
According to what was previously announced by the Public Enterprise National Parks of Montenegro, fishing will take place in accordance with the Law on Freshwater Fisheries and Aquaculture and the current orders of the Ministry of Agriculture. The price of a daily fishing license is 20 euros.
All sports fishermen in the NP "Biogradska gora" must respect the measure of physical distance as well as all other NKT measures.
